I’ve been a nature guy since my early days of catching frogs and snakes in the 70’s in Bloomington Minnesota. Over the years I’ve come to enjoy fishing, birding, nature photography, cooking, sports, camping, hiking and most of everything that takes a guy outside.

Being an avid outdoors guy has me going in many directions depending on the season. I have particular knowledge in Quetico Provincial Park, jig fishing, Yellowstone, RMNP, animal photography, camping, wilderness cooking and birding.

The purpose of Outsidepwr is to bring experiences, information and entertainment to those who enjoy a more traditional option to learn about outdoor activities. I’m hoping my content offers incite and entertainment to my visitors without the bombardment of never ending ads and promotions.

My beginings in web media started in 2001 with a website named fishfever.com. That site offered fishing videos on the web about 4 years before YouTube and it was a successful venture for quite a few years. Time was not on my side, work and family life made it more difficult to get video content so fishfever’s audience slowly dwindled. Fast forward about 15 years I’ve come to realize that I have a passion for things outside and more than just fishing so I launched Outsidepwr.com to express my views on specific subjects in entertaining and infomative ways. I’ll be posting some of the old Fishfever videos. Some of which recieved millions of views back in the day as well as new video content, photography and written words.
